A family craft between Denmark and Dubai

SNORR is a family: mother Jette, daughter Dina, and son Kian. Every bag is crocheted by Jette’s hands in Denmark, then travels to our home in Dubai - where each order is packed and sent on its way. Rooted in Danish craft, made from certified materials, made to last.

Our Story

My mother has crocheted for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always a basket of yarn beside her chair in Denmark - hats, blankets, gifts for neighbours. In 2025, living in Dubai, I asked her to make me one bag. When it arrived, strangers kept stopping me to ask where it was from - and the honest answer was: my mum made it.

That is how SNORR began. Not with a business plan, but with one bag, made by one pair of hands. We named it SNORR, from the Danish word for rope - because that is where every bag begins: metres of recycled cotton rope, and my mother's patience.

Today Jette still crochets every bag in Denmark, my sister Dina and I look after everything else, and every order leaves our home in Dubai the way that first bag left hers - packed by hand, with care.

Every SNORR bag begins in Jette’s studio in Denmark. It is a space built on craft and quiet purpose - where every detail is conceived, designed, and made by one pair of hands, and the beauty of making is honoured above all else.

The work - by hand

There are no machines here. Every knot is tied by hand, every stitch placed with intention, and every bag checked by Jette herself before it leaves her hands. Because each is handmade, no two are ever quite alike - and that is the point.
